Yes, it's true, we named our tour after Bowie's Serious Moonlight Tour. We got a chance to open for David Bowie at Anaheim Stadium on 9/9/83. After a period of band troubles it was just the shot we needed. (I write about this period and show in my book--and really well!) We needed some warm up gigs so booked some pretty big places to headline and get ready for the big Bowie concert--which was a triumph!
This is the ONLY shirt I have commemorating this huge event! AND I'm Including one of 2 laminates I kept. Super cool.
